5 Day Class (1pm-4pm)
Tuition: $110 (includes lab fee)
Materials: $10

This class will be based around the same premises as the 8 to 11 year old  class, but will involve more elaborate tools and processes of disengaging the overly controlling left brain. Artistic explorations will involve painting as a rhythm instrument of sound and sight, and conducting music through hand movements on paper with ink. Many approaches to abstract and visionary painting will be explored.

David Walker had a thirty year successful career as a figurative sculptor before taking up the challenge to work the flat surface. In his new medium David feels his way into the ink as if it were a sculptural medium. By this process he achieves three-dimensional depth within his visionary and automatic imagery.
