Doug Stowe
Furniture Design - A Personal Approach

All levels
Studio 3 Day class

Tuition: $165
Materials: $10

This class on furniture design is a quick and easy movement through the basics of design, into the heart of culture and civilization. The student will participate in the "hands on" experience of design.

Doug Stowe, local Eureka Springs artist, is a professional furniture designer/craftsman and box maker working with American hardwoods. He is the author of three books on box making, winner of the Golden Hammer Award, and frequent contributor to "Woodworkers Journal" and "Woodwork and Fine Woodworking". He is also the 2003 Golden Hammer Award winner for the best 'how-to' book, "Making Elegant Custom Tables". Doug recently won third place in the three-dimensional category at the Eureka Springs Artists' Registry Third Annual Fall Art Show.
