Build a Rustic Stool

Studio
5 Day Class (9am-12pm)
Tuition: $110 (includes lab fee)
Materials: $10

Let your imagination go!  Create a stool or bench you can sit or stand on.  We'll make a smooth top that won't poke you, cut legs out of tree branches and attach them solidly to the top.  Use straight branches or curvy ones that look like animal legs!  Bring your own branches from home if you want, or we'll have plenty to choose from here, too.  Sticks can be fresh or dried, just make sure they're not rotten.  Small class size will ensure individual attention.

Greg, a rustic furniture maker from Fayetteville, Arkansas, has sold his furniture at shows from Denver to Philadelphia. His eclectic style includes found objects and contemporary elements in addition to natural wood in all its elegant shapes. In addition to his 31 years experience as a woodworker, Greg has a Masters degree in Cartography and has taught at the University of Arkansas.  He was featured by “Wood” magazine in their "Craftsman Close-up" and his work has been published in books written by Dan Mack, one of the gurus of rustic furniture.
