Established in 1998 by master PMC® - expert Tim McCreight, the Rio Rewards PMC (Precious Metal Clay) Certification program has earned the respect of educators and students alike. Specific skills and techniques in using PMC are thoroughly taught over the course of three days and the program is designed for individuals who desire the recognition of a standardized level of excellence. Class size is limited to only 10 – 15 students, ensuring plenty of one-on-one instruction time. Students should be familiar with PMC and should be comfortable performing joining, rolling and assembly techniques. A series of seven projects taught and tested have been carefully designed to include a range of techniques that will be useful in the future as students continue to work or teach using all types of PMC. Successful completion of the workshop prepares them for a wide range of professional pursuits.

Tim McCreight is one of the first artists in the United States to use PMC and a consultant for the Mitsubishi Materials Corporation (makers of PMC). Tim has worked extensively with the material for nine years. He has authored numerous books and articles, taught many workshops all over the country, and is the former department chair at the Maine College of Art.
