Session One/ June 4-8

Cynthia Kresse
Advanced Life Drawing

All Levels
Studio and Outdoors
5 day Class (9am-4pm)
Tuition and Lab Fee: $265
Materials/Models Fees: $40

Many of the Masters of Life Drawing knew that it was important to understand the anatomy of the body, Leonardo Da Vinci studied dissection, and Michelangelo studied the nude form in motion. In this class students will look at the figure in forced perspective, at rest, and in motion. They will learn basic underlying anatomy that produces shapes.

Cynthia has a Masters in Art in Medical Illustration, University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Cynthia has been self-employed as an artist and sculptor, in addition to providing physicians and lawyers with medical illustrations for medical texts, lectures, and legal cases. She has taught a life drawing class at the Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock, and has also given life drawing workshops in Northwest Arkansas.
