Lampworking (Glass Beadmaking)

The students will learn basic bead shapes and techniques to assist in beadmaking success. Also included are some advanced techniques including, goldstone stringers, raking, dots, and dichroic glass. Depending on skill level, the students may also make hollow core vessels, critters, etc. The class also covers safety, proper equipment use and inexpensive studio setup. All necessary materials and equipment are provided for use in class. All beads are annealed and returned to students. Additional supplies, kits and tools will be available for purchase.

Tuition: $250, Materials Fee: $100, Lab Fee; $15
