Creative Explorations

This class will be an exploration of creativity using open ended exercises and a wide variety of media. The emphasis will be on the process of creating and finding ways to slip into a different way of seeing; therefore expressing in an authentic way. Students will work in many different media within a loose structure designed to introduce the creative process in a hands-on, non-threatening atmosphere. Students will explore using charcoal, pastels, paint, collage and clay. Projects will be taught that help the student recognize the joyous creative state and work in a nonjudgmental manner. There will be freedom to develop themes and learn to follow your creative interest. No experience required.
