About the Art Car Parade
There are two things that the citizens of Eureka Springs can agree on. They love cars and they love art. So what would be better then mixing the two into the first Eureka Springs Art Car Parade! The Eureka Springs is hosting this event to bring art to the streets. Local, regional, and national Art Car enthusiasts will roll, scoot, and drive their cars down Historic Spring Street in downtown Eureka Springs on May 28th, 2005.
What is an art car? Good question! An Art Car is anything that rolls that has been decorated, bejewelled, festooned, or otherwise decked out. There are Art Cars that are painted, objects glued on, themes, and altered in any number of artistic ways. These cars are expressions of art for the entire world to enjoy and often giggle at. It isn't just cars either. Bikes, wagons, scooters, and motorcycles can join in on the fun. In fact, if it has wheels it can be part of the Art Car Parade festivities.

Do you own an Art Car? Are you feverishly making an Art Car to participate in this years festivities in Eureka Springs? Download the registration form on this site and mail it in by May 4, 2005. This is an event to be part of. Eureka Springs is a wild destination that your car has to see and be seen in. We have over 200 working artists living in what is one of the "Top 100 Artist Communities" in the nation. You will be appreciated like you have never been before. Come be part of our fun and funky Eureka!
