Session Eight/July 28-August 1

Carrie Marry
Loom Weaving

Beginners
Studio
5 Day class (9am-4pm)
Tuition: $275
Materials: $15

This class is designed for students with little or no experience in weaving. Students will leave with a solid foundation of knowledge in weaving that will allow them to further explore weaving on their own. They will learn to read a pattern/draft, wind a warp, thread the loom and weave. Students will complete a twill sampler and have time for a personal project.

Carrie Marry from Eureka Springs, Arkansas, is on the Board of Directors of the Arkansas Craft Guild. From 2004 to present, she has taught Beginning 4-Harness Weaving at the Ozark Folk School in Mountain View, Arkansas. She has been a juried member of the Arkansas Craft Guild in Fiber Arts since 2000. Carrie's love of weaving is evident in the enthusiasm she brings to her class.
