Metal Sculpture

5 Day class (9am-4pm)

Materials:

Metal working tools and techniques will be demonstrated by the instructor and practiced by the students. Emphasis will be on welding, cutting, and finishing for steel and stainless steel.

Jim is an award winning sculptor and potter who resides in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and his studio is "Paradise Pottery on Blue Spring Road". He has an M.F.A. from Texas A & M University, and has taught privately at the university level and at many prestigious craft schools in the nation. Jim won the 2006 Eureka Springs Outdoor Sculpture Contest for his piece, "The Bird Sculpture" (see picture).
